A march in the memory of Tina Fontaine was held in Winnipeg in order bring attention to the changes that are needed to ensure the circumstances that led to Fontaine’s death aren’t repeated. Critics say a string of failures in social services and foster care systems played a big role in Fontaine’s death — and little has changed since she died.
