Ashley Taylor, a Navy League Cadet and competitive cheerleader | Canada’s Smartest Person Junior

As a Navy League Cadet, Ashley has an appreciation for and understanding of discipline that others her age may not, which she hopes will set her apart from the competition. Dedicated and determined, Ashley plans to enter the Air Cadets like her grandfather, father, and brother before her.

Also a competitive cheerleader, Ashley hopes to bring her own unique spirit and best cheer to the Canada’s Smartest Person Junior stage.

About Canada’s Smartest Person Junior:
Canada’s Smartest Person Junior. is a must-see, family-friendly series that’s an exciting evolution of CBC’s hit competition format, Canada’s Smartest Person. Hosted by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee from Kim’s Convenience.

Over six weeks, 12 remarkable kids aged 8-12 battle it out for their chance to be named “Canada’s Smartest Person Junior.”

Each week, they take on fun and spectacular challenges that test their smarts in six categories: Physical, Musical, Social, Linguistic, Logical and Visual. They must prove they have what it takes in every category or face elimination.

It’s an entertaining and action-packed competition as young competitors compete for the coveted title with the whole country cheering them on.

Along the way, Canadians discover that intelligence comes in all shapes and sizes — and doesn’t always mean having straight As.
