Hong Kong 20 years after handover

Hong Kong marks the 20th anniversary of the handover from British to Chinese rule. But tensions are high as China’s president visits for the first time as head of state.

Pro democracy activists are threatening protests involving 100,000s of people, saying China has failed to live up to its promise of greater freedoms and democracy. Lawyer and media commentator Andrea Chun provides a sense of what Hong Kong is like now compared to 20 years ago.
