Report: Air Transat given weeks to fix ‘major’ safety system problems in 2015

A three-year-old report recently released under Access to Information shows inspectors found 22 safety problems at Air Transat back in 2015. Of those, 14 were classified as ‘major,’ which means a ‘system-wide failure’ was evident. The airline was given up to a month to come up with some of the necessary fixes, something that surprised the Canadian Federal Pilots Association.
