Taylor Ruck Wins Gold, Sets Record in Women’s 200M Freestyle at World Junior Swimming Championships

Canadian swimmer Taylor Ruck didn’t just WIN the women’s 200-metre freestyle race at the 6th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships; she set a new course record.

Ruck’s time was 1:59.08. Ajna Kesely, of Hungary, finished second with a time of 1:57.10, while Russia’s Irina Krivonogova was third with a time of 1:58.51. The race happened Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
