Alberta a ‘have not’ province for 1st time in 50 years

COVID-19 hit Alberta’s already struggling economy so hard, Albertans are no longer giving more in federal taxes than their province receives in support, turning it into a ‘have not’ province for the first time in over 50 years, according to one economist’s calculations.
