Unlike in Canada, throughout the United States television cameras are routinely allowed to broadcast court proceedings. fifth estate producer / director Claude Vickery reflects on the experience of filming Marc Wabafiyebazu’s bail hearing in Miami during the production of our piece, A Mother’s Trial. Vickery also talks about the debate surrounding the introduction of cameras in Canadian courts.
